I stand 6'1 and this is the first free standing bag that I don't have to drop into a horse stance to hit. I've had this bag for about a week now and I'm totally pleased with it! Loaded it with 240lbs. of sand on day 1 and it's taking everything I can deliver. I'd recommend this punching bag to anyone who needs to train in a space limited area!

The Wavemaster III is performing very well so far (about 3 weeks). It seems very durable and is an excellent substitute for a hanging heavy bag. However, even when filled with 250 lbs of sand, low-power punches and kicks caused a lot of rocking. This resulted in loud banging and would have damaged my wooden floor. Four inches of soft foam under the unit fixed the problem. An old sofa cushion, etc., would probably work also. Just be sure to put the base on the foam BEFORE filling the base or you're in for a REAL workout. ;-)

This was dropped shipped to my house in excellent condition and very fast, it arrived before I expected! The bag has a wide base making it bounce back much quicker and take harder hits. It's soft enough to practice without wraps and the ability to change the height it perfect for practicing accuracy/extension with your kicks! Also I filled the base with water, not as heavy as sand so it will slide on carpet or hard floors. So be careful where you place it.
