It is very sturdy, as long as you add enough weigh to all 4 posts. My friend's Century bag stand squeaks every couple of weeks of use, and needs tightening, this Everlast one doesn't. I currently have a 120lb bag on it, but it still works. (Neither I nor Everlast recommend this, besides the fact no one really need over 100lb bag)
