Horizon Fitness Warranty Information

This warranty applies only to the original owner and is not transferable. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective frame, motor, electronic component, or defective part and is the sole remedy of the warranty. If the consumer is not located within 50 miles of a Horizon Fitness authorized service provider Horizon Fitness will only pay up to $150.00 towards first service call. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper assembly or maintenance or installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the treadmill as sold. The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accident, abuse, corrosion, discoloration of paint or plastic, or neglect. Horizon Fitness shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages. All returns must be pre-authorized by Horizon Fitness. Horizon Fitness’ obligation under this warranty is limited to replacing or repairing, at Horizon Fitness’ option, the product at one of its authorized service centers. A Horizon Fitness authorized service center must receive all products for which a warranty claim is made. These products must be received with all freight and other transportation charges prepaid, accompanied by sufficient proof of purchase. Parts and electronic components reconditioned to “as new condition” by Horizon Fitness or its vendors may sometimes be supplied as warranty replacement parts and constitute fulfillment of warranty terms. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and your rights may vary from state to state.

Horizon Fitness warranties all products to be free from defects, breakage and failure due to normal use within the home environment for the time period stated in each products manual (see individual manuals for the warranty coverage on parts and labor). Horizon Fitness reserves the right to inspect any merchandise involved in a warranty claim. Horizon Fitness reserves the right to determine if a legitimate warranty claim exists. Horizon Fitness obligation under this warranty policy is limited to replacing or repairing, at our option, the product at one of our authorized dealers or at the customers home.

Horizon’s obligation under our warranty policy is to repair or replace at our option.

If Horizon determines that a product should be returned, Horizon Fitness will issue an RA and will be responsible for all freight back to our facility. The consumers’ obligation is limited to breaking down the machine and preparing it for return delivery, within 15 days of receipt of product.

6 If an Internet consumer wants to return a defective (or return for reasons of buyer remorse) product to Horizon Fitness without allowing Horizon to remedy the situation as stated in our warranty policy, Horizon Fitness will agree to issue the RA, however, the consumer will be responsible for the following:

  • Take reasonable steps to box any goods in such a way that they will arrive back in good condition. Horizon Fitness reserves the right to reject credit to the customer on returned goods that show dramatic or unusually extensive damage.
  • The customer will be responsible for all return freight expenses. Product must be shipped back to Horizon on a pre-paid basis.
  • The customer will be responsible for getting product beyond the threshold/door and onto the truck.
  • The customer will be responsible for a 10% restocking charge on the purchase price payable to Horizon Fitness
  • The customer must arrange to get full credit of the sale from the original point of purchase. Horizon Fitness will credit the consumer on purchases made directly from Horizon (E-Bay for example). Once the purchase has been credited back to the consumer (confirmed by the dealer), Horizon will authorize and execute the RA.
